Submission Fees for Proposed Works

The QP/PE making the first building plan application to PUB for the project (e.g. Development Control Application or Design Gateway under CORENET X) will have to pay the fee before the submission will be processed by PUB with effect from 1 April 2025. 

This fee will cover the processing of all subsequent submissions under the project, including resubmissions and submissions at later stages like Detailed Plan / Temporary Occupation Permit or Construction Gateway under CORENET X.

  • Minor Projects refer to:
    1. Projects involving Single-Unit Landed Housing only1;
    2. Project involving External Structure only2; or
    3. Other projects that qualify for CORENET X Direct Submission Process (DSP).

    $1,450 per project

    2 Building plan submissions for drainage / sewerage / sanitary (Major Projects)
  • For drainage and/or sewerage/sanitary works only.
  • Major Projects refer to projects not covered under Minor Projects such as projects involving Industrial / Institutional / Commercial / Multi-Unit Residential Developments.
  • $1,850 per project

    3 Water service installation works by PEs
  • Projects involving the design and installation of water service installation works by a PE, within the customer's premises.
  • $1,100 per project

    1Single-Unit Landed Housing refers to single unit of strata landed or landed houses like terrace houses, detached houses, semi-detached houses, good class bungalow, black & white bungalow and public housing (landed).
    2External Structure refers to covered linkways, bus shelters, pedestrian overhead bridges, pavilions, taxi stands, drop-off points and outdoor refreshment areas (that include structural elements).

    Submission Fee for Deviations

    QP/PE seeking waiver for deviation of drainage / sewerage / sanitary / water service installation works from PUB Codes of Practice or requirements, will need to make a submission for each deviation and will be charged for each deviation with effect from 1 April 2025. The fee will cover any subsequent resubmission needed for the deviation until the waiver application is rejected or accepted.

    Waiver applications are processed on a case-by-case basis and making an application does not guarantee that the waiver will be accepted. If the waiver application is rejected, QPs/PEs will have to ensure that works adhere to PUB’s Codes of Practice and requirements.

    Review of deviations                                                                         

     

    Any waiver submission for deviation from PUB’s acts/regulations and requirements such as Code of Practice on Surface Water Drainage, Code of Practice on Sewerage and Sanitary Works, Singapore Standard SS 636: 2018 - Code of Practice on Water Services etc.

     

    $950 per deviation

    GST Applicability for the Fees

    GST, if applicable, would apply in addition to the fees quoted above.

    Payment

    The application fee should accompany the submission. The fees will have to be paid before the submission will be processed by PUB.

    For submissions through CORENET X, the fees will be automatically computed by the CORENET X submission portal based on the development parameters provided in the application. Similar to other agencies’ payments supported under CORENET X, the payment methods available are Credit Card, Debit Card or Bank Transfer. More information will be provided in Q1 2025.
