PUB, Singapore's National Water Agency, set up the Singapore Water Exchange (SgWX) in 2018 as a global marketplace for water companies to collaborate and co-innovate. The SgWX ecosystem includes consultants, technology suppliers, engineering contractors, associations, incubators, and accelerators, and is home to 38 water companies from 16 countries. These companies collaborate to promote water innovation and business growth.
SgWX provides a conducive environment for water companies to collaborate and co-innovate. It serves as a launchpad for foreign companies looking to enter the Singapore water market, and for start-ups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) looking to expand in the region.
