Overview of Sungei Whampoa (St George’s Ln to Serangoon Rd)

Under the ABC Waters Programme, a section of Sungei Whampoa between St George’s Blk 4B to Serangoon Road has been enhanced with lush greenery and improved connectivity along the waterway. A new plaza and shelter creates more gathering spaces for community interaction. 

ABC Waters design features such as rain gardens have been designed to be integrated with the urban landscape. These natural cleansing features will cleanse the rainwater runoff before it is discharged into the waterway.
