Overview of Sungei Tampines

The experience for park users have been enhanced by planting additional shrubs along the river banks and new footpaths were created to bring residents nearer to the river banks. New seats and shelters have been constructed while existing ones were refurbished to provide residents with better view of the scenic waterway. ABC Waters Design features such as rain gardens have also been incorporated to cleanse stormwater runoff before it is discharged into the waterway.
