The banks of Kallang River now feature beautiful and vibrant community spaces that are well-integrated with the surrounding residential areas. Additional facilities such as enhanced landscaping, a viewing gallery, and lookout decks have been incorporated in The River Vista @ Kallang, a housing development by HDB. These features complement the Kolam Ayer ABC Waterfront on the opposite bank of the river. A floating pontoon and boat shed has also been built to allow for kayaking on the river.
